Everyday, volunteers inspire residents, their families, staff and others by sharing their gifts of time and talent.

When you volunteer at Salem Lutheran Homes & Rehabilitation Center, you take a thoughtful role in people’s lives at a time when your efforts are needed most.

Your provide something that money simply cannot buy: your helping hands, friendship, and personal interest. In return, you feel loved and receive fulfillment that only comes from bringing joy to the lives of others. And we believe that you’ll find you just as blessed by resident’s presence in your life as they are by yours.

Opportunities are endless, and your time & talents, no matter what they may be, are always welcome. You can lead a small group discussion, help with social events, share your love of music or cooking, bring a pet for a visit, play games, or put your green thumb to work.

Whatever you do, our residents & staff are grateful for the time and talents you share as part of our team.

People of various backgrounds & ages are welcome as volunteers. Individuals younger than 18 may volunteer with parental or guardian permission.
